I am playing around with a crossover of Sherlock BBC and Anne Rice's 'Beauty' trilogy, an erotic slave world set in a fantasy medieval world. For now this is a one-shot. Though now when I think of it, a modern setting would be interesting? But too much work.

Warnings - Slave AU. I think you know the world, if you have ever read Anne Rice's Beauty trilogy. Slaves are trained by Masters, and in this case, they are acting as ponies, drawing carriages. Good slaves serve in the Castle. Willful ones go to the Village and their service is sold for a year. All slaves are princes and princesses of neighbouring kingdoms that have a treaty, and send their kids to this kingdom for their education. The slavery things isn't permanent, and some become masters, and they all go home after their term of service.
Rather good books, though when I first read them, I was all, ENOUGH with the spanking, woman, I see your kink. Now I am wiser. Older too. Fuck.
Pairings - Sherlock/John eventual.
Rating on this - amazingly, it is PG-13!!! Aside from nudity, there is no sex happening. How about that?

If I had to describe this fic in a sentence, I'd say it is creepy cracky tentacle fic about Moriarty, with my kind of stupid humour and meticulous details concerning Asia.

Notes: Based upon this prompt on the kinkmeme; I took liberties with it. "When Sherlock and John begin a relationship, John expects Sherlock to still be, well, Sherlock. Kinda standoffish, not very affectionate. So he is pretty shocked when Sherlock is the most adoring, loving partner John's ever had. When he asks Sherlock about this, Sherlock tells him that it's because he's never been with someone before, so he's got a lot of love stored up and never given, and John will have to suffer through all of it." I wasn't sure the prompt was really that cracky. It could have been. Like a dull dog, I took the serious route. Why?

Felt like writing some Mad Love For The Win. As well, I wanted to try ways in which Sherlock might express his feelings without being obviously OOC. It's a one-shot fic, though it has occurred to me that the Sherlock POV would be an interesting balance.

Yes, this was based on another version made for the Aubrey/Maturin fandom. Yes, I stuffed my fist into my mouth and had tears running down my face and hysterical noises being made like I'd just heard my mother was murdered when I read the original. Except of course I was on public transportation, and trying not to screech with laughter. It was TOO BRILLIANT not to make a version for Sherlock BBC.

Yes, I really feel like this about John. John - not a doormat, tool, idiot, or any other trope that disrespects the man.

I blame the SherlockBBC kink meme for this. I blame Sherlock. I blame my good friends Jamie and Marixsa. And of course myself, for being all weak and writing fanfic, and within a short month has found that she is writing tentacles, and also phonesex. The slide was swift - I am sure that my depravities have not been fully delved yet.

Meantimes, until I figure out again how to run LJ (I never have really), my first post is a link to places OTHER than LJ where I will be posting my fanfic works, in progress or otherwise!
